Under normal circumstances (pre-Covid-19), as a founder member of the UKIVA Machine Vision Conference, Scorpion Vision would be taking part at the physical event which has taken place in Milton Keynes each spring. The event was cancelled in 2020 and replaced with a technology presentation hub where each participating company made a pre-recorded presentation on their subject of choice.
The event has sadly been cancelled again this year. However, the Technology Presentation Hub is again going live from the 15th July. There are eight virtual theatres:
- Deep Learning & Machine Vision
- Vision in Robotics
- Understanding Vision Technology
- Systems & Applications
- 3D Vision
- Camera Technology
- Optics & Illumination
- Vision Innovation
There are a total of 42 presenters this year, from all over the world delivering a fascinating range of machine vision technology seminars.
Scorpion Vision will be there again this year with our very own Paul Wilson making a presentation on the Evolution of the Agritech Camera.
Intrigued? Visit the Machine Vision Conference website from the 9am on the 15th of July when the event goes live and to hear about how Scorpion Vision is making a difference in the agricultural sector with a specially developed 3D camera designed for the automated processing of fresh produce, post harvest. This is an area in the UK fresh produce supply chain that is under serious pressure and which can only be alleviated with the use of advanced automation systems. Paul's presentation will be available at 9am in the Vision Innovation Seminar.
