Scorpion Vision, a founding company of the United Kingdom Machine Vision Conference, is exhibiting again at this year's conference which takes place at the Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes on the 14th May 2020.
This year, we'll be demonstrating some work from a recent project that combines 3D machine vision with neural networks.
Our presenters will be:
Thor Vollset, CEO of Tordivel AS will be presenting a case study on a 3D robot vision system that picks coat hangers from a conveyor belt. The system locates hangers in 3D and determines if it is topmost or under another hanger, identifies the type, its orientation and whether it is complete. All this within a few hundred milliseconds. Very challenging for a conventional vision system. So what is the secret?
Jana Lambrecht, Business Development Manager at Scorpion Vision Ltd will be presenting a case study on Post Harvest Vegetable Processing. What are the challenges associated with trimming and preparing vegetables using optical systems? Jana will demonstrate the technology behind these 3D vision systems that have been deployed to alleviate the effects of the decreasing availability of the human workforce.
Also exhibiting with Scorpion Vision will be:
Arducam, demonstrating their range of embedded camera technology integrated with Raspberry Pi, Arduino and Nvidia Jetson platforms.
HIK Vision will also be present showing the latest generation of very high resolution cameras.
