Computar releases new lens series for ⅔” sensors
Computar has released a new lens series MPW3 designed for ⅔” sensors. Following the existing lens series MPW2 which covers up to 5 MP ⅔” sensors the new MPW3 series offers coverage for up to 8 MP on ⅔” sensors (~2.74 micron pixel size). In combination with the Sony IMX178 the MPW3 lenses allow a resolution of just 2.4 micron pixel size.
The MPW3 lens series is available in 8 different focal lengths from 5 mm up to 75 mm. It features a short working distance, ultra low distortion as well as very good relative illumination as customers are used to when using Computar lenses.
All lenses have manual adjustable irises from f/2.8 to f/16 and allow for filter integration.
Computar lenses can be purchased online from our webshop. These lenses are good for any sensor that is ⅔” or smaller. You can use our camera sensor filter to locate cameras with specific sensor sizes.
For example: Cameras with sensors of all sizes up to and including ⅔”.
