Machine Vision Conference and Exhibition June 6th 2019
Scorpion Vision will be attending this years Machine Vision Conference 2019
Following the great success of previous years, Scorpion Vision will be attending this years Machine Vision Conference (MVC) held at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes on the 6th June 2019.
The Scorpion Vision stand will be showcasing the global shutter Scorpion 3D Venom Camera which is designed to be used in cutting edge 3D stereo vision systems. It excels in short-to-medium size baseline using a single colour or monochrome camera with resolution from VGA to 29 MP. Two virtual 3D cameras are created by a clever mirror design focused at a user specified working distance.
An example image on the right, shows an evolution of the Scorpion Vision Sprout Peeling System, where the 2D camera have been upgraded with 3D Venom. This demonstrates the high quality imagery in both 2D and 3D that can be generated by this camera. Now with Scorpion 3D Venom, 3D measurements can be accurately made.
Application areas for this technology are broad but there are obvious benefits in the production, processing and analysis of food products.
